Потеряю ли я непрерывное проживание для целей ПМЖ, если уеду работать в другое место, а затем вернусь в Гонконг?
Это случается довольно часто. Вы проживаете и работаете в Гонконге в течение от 3-5 лет, преодолеваете барьер в виде 7 лет, необходимых для получения Постоянной Идентификационной Карты. Затем вы вынуждены провести некоторое время вне Гонконга, чтобы продвинуться в карьере, получить образование или из-за особых обстоятельств. Вам необходимо иметь непрерывное и обыденное проживание в Гонконге не менее семи лет, где любые отсутствия из Гонконга в течение этого времени – независимо от их длительности – должны быть временного характера, что подтверждается тем, что вы даже если вы покидаете Гонконг для того, чтобы ворнеться в конце каждого временного пребывания за границей. В течение этих семи лет вы должны были иметь непрерывные последовательные визы на проживание; не должно быть препятствий о области безопасности для предоставления права на проживание; не должно быть неразрешенных налоговых обязательств в Гонконге на момент подачи заявки. И вы должны были находиться в Гонконге с конкретной целью. Ваша конкретная цель зависит от типа визы, которую вы имеете.

Правда ли что Иммиграционный Департамент в Гонконге склонен отказывать в заявказ на визу? Не правда!
Это очень далеко от истины.
Иммиграционный Департамент имеет огромную работу по ведению записей о населении и потребностями в статусе иммиграции в нашем прекрасном городе, и неразумно ожидать, что они видят свою миссию в противодействии желаниям иностранных граждан, стремящихся основать свое место жительства, по любой причине, на территории Гонконга.
Суть в том, что если вы действительно соответствуете требованиям для получения нужного вам иммиграционного статуса, Иммиграционный Департамент вам его выдаст.
Это особенно актуально в 2023 году, поскольку мы стремимся решить наш текущий кризис с кадрами.
Но помните, что ответственность лежит на вас, как на заявителе, чтобы иметь все необходимые документы в порядке и в хорошем состоянии, чтобы взаимодействие с Иммиграционным Департаментом проходило быстро и эффективно.
